It was more basic than other Scandic hotels I’ve stayed in, but it still had a good sized sauna, a basic gym and a good selection at breakfast. The location was also very handy for public transport, right beside a metro station, tram stop and bus stop - so it was very easy to get to the airport and into the city centre. I also got a couple of great tips from the guy on reception when I asked for some nice local shops & cafes to visit, so that was very much appreciated - the staff on reception and in the breakfast room were all very friendly and helpful in fact.

Breakfast selection was much better than we expected. The only downside, as usually, is that breakfast is always the same, but it was not a problem here. Sauna every evening free of charge - great! Entrance to hotel - straight from airport bus. Other transport options - within few steps. Staff was very responsive - at first, we arrived much earlier amd we got to enter the room, but at the end they helped to hold our luggage at other hotel, closer to our next transport.

Really amazing breakfast with many choices even before the official breakfast time (if you have to leave early in the morning). Humus was amazing. There are vegan and vegetarian options. Oat milk and regular milk. Chives to go with your cottage cheese! Really great! I also loved the shower - did not injure myself getting in and out. Very comfortable and spacious. Sauna is available. Great location.

Great value for Helsinki, comfortable and quintessentially Nordic with its simple, practical yet comfortable design. Rooms have AC, which was very desirable in July. Large windows with good views. Excellent location right above Hakaniemi metro station with bus and tram connections just outside. Easy walk to the city centre as well as to Kallio/Harju for great restaurants.

The location of the hotel is perfect because of the public transport (buses & trams + metro station and airport bur stop located less than 20m away!)
